As a professional manufacturer, 3PLUS has specialized in air tools for many years. Since its inception, 3PLUS is committed to making life more convenient and efficient. Powerful performance, minimal recoil force, and effortless speed - these are the design concepts that 3PLUS always strives to achieve in order to best satisfy its customers' needs in terms of product quality, delivery time, and service.
The 3PLUS Pallet Making Series includes the HCN55SP, which accepts 15-degree 1-inch to 2-1/4-inch wire collated nails, and the HCN70SP, which accepts 15-degree 1-3/4-inch to 2-3/4-inch wire collated nails. Additionally, 3PLUS offers a range of Pneumatic Staplers, Air Nailers, and Air Compressors, as well as a 21/28/34-Degree Framing Nailer and an 11-Gauge Coil Roofing Nailer, which is ideal for installing asphalt or fiberglass roofing shingles and fastening lath wire on plywood.
The 21/28/34-Degree Framing Nailer features a quick-change magazine angle for different fasteners collated at 21, 28, and 34 degrees. The nails it can accommodate range from 2-3/16" to 3-1/2" in length, and it operates at an air pressure of 70-120 PSI. An anti-dry fire mechanism extends the motor's life and prevents missing nails.
The tool's hardened claw tip reduces wear on the nose and minimizes slippage when toe-nailing. Users have the option to fit a no-mar tip to protect the work surface from unwanted damage. The multi-directional exhaust cover rotates 360 degrees to direct the exhaust air away from the user.
To set the nailer's angle, follow these three steps:
-
Inspect the pin's location. When driving 21-degree angle nails, the pin should be in the lower hole. For 28- or 34-degree angle nails, the pin should be in the upper hole. If the pin is in the wrong position, pull it from the washer, reposition the bar guide, and reinsert and secure the pin and washer.
-
Pull back and engage the tab, exposing three adjustment holes. Loosen the hex bolt, slide it into the appropriate hole (21°, 28°, 34°), and retighten the bolt, ensuring it fits properly. Carefully release the lock while guiding the tab towards the front.
-
Remove the adjuster knob, move the magazine until the desired hole on the joint plate lines up with the nut on the magazine, and replace and tighten the adjuster knob.
The driving depth of a nail can be adjusted in two ways: by increasing or decreasing the air pressure (not exceeding 120 PSI), and by loosening the depth screw and adjusting the bracket. Experiment on a scrap piece of material to determine the appropriate adjustments.
The no-mar tip provides a non-marring surface, and if desired, it can be removed to expose the teeth on the safety nosepiece, which can improve accuracy by providing a non-slip surface.
